About Me

Dr. Schaefer is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She completed her Ph.D. at Marquette University (APA accredited) and her clinical internship at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center (APA accredited), Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Schaefer currently has a private practice in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Her orientation is largely cognitive-behavioral with an emphasis on solution-focused interventions. She works from the strengths of her patients, encouraging their positive growth and change.
